自治區政府勒令在港三十多萬家庭傭工（大多數為菲律賓／印尼人）在五月九號以前完成新冠病毒強檢。筆者在上個週末連續兩日分別在維多利亞公園以及在中環集中精神進行了攝影報道。
一個無視海外家庭勞工的平日辛苦，限期要求她們接受病毒強檢。結果，是數萬菲律賓，印度尼西亞家庭傭工為限期內完成強檢，在太陽暴曬之下口渴，餓著肚子排數小時的長隊犧牲她們僅有的一天寶貴假日。一個不體恤勞工，以自我方便為主的政策引來海外傭工們的不滿。
海外家庭傭工 - 她們是‘弱勢族群’， 又是強者。
我在鏡頭下紀錄了她們在身在異鄉中默默承受著委屈的人生百態。
這是她們的故事。
PRC-Hong Kong Autonomy Region Government have announced a compulsory Covid-19 testing aimed specifically for all Overseas Workers ( domestic helpers mainly consist of women from Philippines and Indonesia ) in Hong Kong, which numbers count over 300 thousand. These working women are ordered to receive compulsory Covid-19 testing before 9th of May. As a consequence, domestic helpers are forced to sacrifice their statutory holidays, lining up few hours under the beating sun at the Park or in Central, feeling hungry and thirsty without the food and water, in order to receive Covid-19 swabbing at the temporal testing centres designated by the government.
The self-centered policy which lacks the sympathy for the labouring women from foreign countries have stirred up negative sentiment and resentment among domestic helpers stating that the HK government policy is discriminative towards specific race and community. The source of Covid-19 VARIANT is mainly found on MAN FROM INDIA ( or probably, in many other cases, people from Pakistan and Nepal etc ). In light of catastrophic OUTBREAK in India, Hong Kong government hesitate to take action against the HUGE INDIAN/PAKISTANI COMMUNITY in Hong Kong, a potential bio-hazardous community, but instead, target their practice on OVERSEAS WORKERS from Philippines and Indonesia. The clumsy handling and a policy without the wisdom indicates how HKSAR government is poorly managed by group of imbeciles who are unable to come up with better idea, or to solve social problem with a smarter solutions.
DOMESTIC HELPERS, they are the ' weak ones ' and the STRONG ONE.
