I have, during two days of my photo coverage over the weekend, witnessed the toughness and optimism which Overseas Workers displayed at the Park and in the city centre, accepting unfair treatment by the HKSAR government in silence. Most of these WOMEN came from poor families in South-East Asia, baring the responsibility of feeding their families and bringing up their children, providing education. Their LIVES are never easy. They wouldn't dare to dream what Hong Kong Women can dream, a more prosperous and promised future for the women who are brought up in the rich city being pampered by maids from very early on in the family. But they are STILL HUMANS, but NOT a ' maid '. A women with her own humble wishes, and hopes for better future. Yeah, they are great WOMEN and many of them wonderful human beings.
A strangers in the alien nations.
I dedicate this photoblog to the women I grow to respect and love.
